Gideon Querido van Frank

Gideon (Tel Aviv, 1974) did his MA in Cultural Studies and Gender Studies in Amsterdam and New York. He has been the organiser of Queer Shabbaton Amsterdam (2005, 2006) and Queer Shabbaton NY (2007), an urban retreat for LGBTQ Jews focusing on politics, activisme, literature and religion. In 20014 he programmed the Jewish Boat as part of Amsterdam Gay Pride. Next to his job as Press Officer of the Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam, he focuses as a writer on Jewish and queer identities. Currently is curratin a exhibition for the Jewish Historical Museum about the question Are Jews White?
